12/13/01 10:00pm Home after an uneventful
but so loooooog set of flights.
Our
flight from Chicago to Tokyo delayed. "One P.M. decision" (which
means they'll decide what they're gunna do about 1/2 hour after the
plane was supposed to leave). All in a day's travel...
The Chicago plane left an hour or so late. They held
our connections in Japan (and ushered us to the gate — no extra
security check). So net of the delays and frustration: about 30
minutes late to Bangkok.
Extra security wasn't that much a hassle. Plane was probably 3/4
full.
The season left behind.
