Mileage Run [my-ledge-runh]. An airline routing chosen primarily, or exclusively, to get lots of frequent flier miles in one swell-foop.

I flew from Boston to Kansas City, Missouri. I'd never been to Kansas City - Missouri nor Kansas, I've got buddies there - hell, why not? It was on the way.

The City of Grand Rapids' logo was designed by Joseph Kinnebrew, an internationally recognized sculptor and painter. The logo incorporates a yellow sun, blue river, and a red representation of the "La Grande Vitesse" sculpture by Alexander Calder. The logo is used on everything from street signs to refuse trucks. Kathy, just back from the excitement of Grand Rapids, Michigan, met me in Los Angeles, California. We had a fine time being tourists (Mann's Chinese Theatre, anyone? Tour of the Movie Stars' homes? We did it all.
