Chiang Mai Thailand

An entire month in a "strange" country. Hard to believe it: hard to believe I've never done it before.

The time's passed quickly. The things that are annoying (very few indeed) have faded in favor of all the things that are wonderful.

The weather's gone from cool (this is relative; we're talking 60 in the early morning) to hot. It's now regularly in the 80s and hits the 90s. It'll get warmer still.

One big change at the end of this month: companionship. No, I didn't find a Thai girlfriend (my life partner might have some objection to this; I have mentioned it. Only if she can get a cute Thai boy to take home. Take home?

With a little pleading, a little cajoling, and some Sales skills, I persuaded Kathy to make the long journey to join me in Thailand. She did, we had a ball together — and we're planning our return.
